Whether you’re a fan or not, it seems like the high cut swimwear trend is here to stay. Originating in the 80s, the stylish cut saw a resurgence a couple of years ago and has been prominent all over Instagram ever since. The style is heavily inspired by swimsuits from the 80s and 90s, especially those iconic red one-piece swimsuits from Baywatch.

It’s simple, the trendy cut looks good and is flattering on everyone. Because the style of the bikini bottom sits higher on your hips and thighs, the cut will instantly elongate your legs making them look leaner and toned. As well as making your legs look longer, high cut swimwear will also give the illusion of a longer torso and can even make you look taller than you are.
The great thing about high cut swimwear is that it was designed with curvy bodies in mind. The style accentuates curves, it sits at the highest point on your hips creating a gorgeous hourglass shape.

We have a range of high cut swimwear, but our most popular would be our Velvet Collection. Made in our gorgeous velvet fabric we have high waisted, high cut bikini bottoms or one pieces in three beautiful colours. The great thing about the bikini bottoms is that they’re high waisted, meaning that they have a little more coverage than other high cut pants. The high waist helps to accentuate your waist and show off your curves, while still giving you the high cut swimwear trend. You can also wear high cut bikini bottoms with any top that makes you feel comfortable!

Size guide
All of our swimsuits are true to size. This means you should follow your normal sizing.
The best guide is your underwear - so what you would wear in a bra and undies is the size you order from us in tops and bottoms. For example, in you wear an 18E bra, you should order a size 18 swimsuit top from us.
If you are looking for a one piece and are in between sizes, say an 18E bra and a 20 in underpants, we recommend choosing the larger of the two sizes - so a size 20 in this case.
If you have any issues with your new swimsuit, we do 30 day refunds for full priced items and exchanges for all items - so you can swap to a size or style that is more suitable for you!
