We thought the girls at Capriosca Swimwear should fill everyone in on the best cruise, island and beach destinations that we have loved to visit.  Coming into the cooler months it’s time to start organising your next getaway.


With personal experience we have compiled a list of the best places to go and the best things to do. These are our favourite holiday destinations that we think you should look into visiting!

With accomodation around each island you can easily go back and forth between islands to enjoy all that they have to offer. The Australian Whitsunday Islands is definitely one place to holiday.   1. Fraser Island in Queensland

Fraser island is a stunning and breathtaking part of Queensland. With beaches and lakes galore, you can do everything from hiking to surfing on this amazing piece of paradise.


You have the option of getting there by boat or if you like 4 wheel driving then there is a barge that you can book to take your car over and drive on the beaches.  There are also great spots set up for camping along the stretches of beach.

With panoramic viewpoints around the Island, you will be blown away by the Australian beauty everywhere you look. Some of these views include Indian Head, a rocky outcrop on the island's easternmost tip, and the Cathedrals, a cliff famous for sculpted ribbons of coloured sand.


Fraser Island is also a camping and ecotourism destination, with amazing beaches and swimming sites at Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby and other freshwater pools. Some key beaches to visit would be Surfers Paradise, the mecca of all these tourism, Broadbeach for great cafes and live music, The Alley Creek with the still, calm and picturesque views, or Rainbow Bay the heart of Gold Coast surfing and iconic for the amazing waters.


With each Gold Coast beach being family friendly, safe and warm, you can’t go wrong when visiting the Gold Coast Beaches. If you get sick of the beaches you can always head 20 minutes up the road to the Hinterland and do any of the hiking trails, or visit some spectacular waterfalls.


  1. Sydney

Bondi Beach is at the heart of Sydney tourism. With thousands of people visiting every year, this beach speaks for itself. With gentle waters and a semi-circle of pristine sand, you can’t go past a visit to the famous Bondi Beach.


Not only is it famous for the amazing beach, but you might even catch a glimpse of the Bondi Lifeguards who grace Australian TV every week for their beach adventures and dramas.


You can walk around Bondi Beach and make your way to Bronte Beach as you enjoy the coastline in a 30 minute walk. Pass the amazing cliff top houses and watch everyone enjoy the sun. This walk is great if you feel like going on a relaxing walk along these famous beaches.


What’s more, you can go for a swim at Bondi Icebergs then enjoy a nice lunch overlooking the entire beach. Bondi Icebergs is an ocean swimming pool famous for its bright waters and easy hang out spot. Tanning, swimming or eating, you can enjoy a day at Bondi Icebergs while people watching to your heart's content.
