Multifit Swimwear
Welcome to the wonderful world of swimwear sizing. Here at Capriosca Swimwear we design swimsuits to fit a wide range of bust sizes with support options to suit all needs. Multifit is a sizing option that caters to multiple cup fittings in the one size.
Within the multifit size range, we specify which cups will fit comfortably in each swimsuit with adequate support. Multifit swimsuits do not have underwire, but feature either a shelf bra for support or a light elastic band.
You’ll discover a variety of swimsuits within the multifit range from cross over styles, strapless bathers, zip up one pieces, and ruffled styles. Bikinis, tankini tops, one piece swimsuits, and swim dresses are all available in multifit sizing.
Why Choose Multifit?
Comfort. Multifit swimmers are often more comfortable than an underwire swimsuit. Think how much nicer it is to wear a wire free bra and you’ll understand why many women prefer a multifit style with soft, elastic bust support.
Bust Minimising. While underwire styles lift the bust and often show more cleavage, a multifit style cradles the breasts with gentle support without accentuating their size. Styles such as the 3 tier tankini and one piece are ideal for minimising larger bust sizes if that is what you prefer.
Weight Fluctation. A multifit style is ideal if your weight fluctuates and your bust changes size. Pregnancy for example, is a time when your bust size can alter dramatically. A multifit swimsuit will allow you to feel comfortable and supported as your body changes size.
Style. Negating the need for underwire, multifit designs can often be more creative and fashion forward. Zips, ruffles, one shoulder styles, and cross over details are all possible without the need for underwire.
Support. While underwire is the superior option for bust support, a shelf bra or a structured swimsuit is still an excellent choice. You can feel comfortably supported by a shelf bra in a multifit swimsuit. The addition of adjustable straps allows you to further customise your support for the ultimate fit.
Shelf bra
What is a shelf bra? You may have worn activewear or sleepwear with shelf bra support. A shelf bra is a thick piece of elastic that sits under the bust to comfortably support you. It is sewn at the base of the bust lining to create a secure cradle for your breasts to sit in.
Including a shelf bra in swimsuits allows for undetectable support and structure. Our one shoulder styles are an excellent example of how adding a shelf bra to a swimsuit can give you a smooth look with secret support.

Removeable Breast Pads
If you want to customise your look and shape, choose a multifit style with removeable breast pads. Breast pads a cup shaped pieces of thin foam that offer shape, coverage, and light support. They are inserted into the lining of the bust and can be removed if preferred.
They can be replaced with your own padded inserts or mastectomy prosthetics. We design many of our multifit and underwire swimsuits with removeable breast pads for your convenience.

Moulded Cups
Moulded cups are a similar structure to a breast pad but are permanently sewn into the lining of the swimsuit. They also offer shape, coverage, and light support. Paired with a shelf bra, moulded soft cups give a beautiful natural shape to the bust and structure to your swimsuit.
They feature in styles that benefit from added support and permanent structure. Strapless and sexy styles often feature built in shaping.

Structure
We design a wide range of swimsuit styles with many different features. For some designs we add extra structure to support and shape the body. Panels, boning, and extra underbust structure help to make multifit swimsuits more supportive without underwire.
Even if the structure isn’t specifically for the bust, panelling through the midsection and sides of the swimsuit will contribute to added bust support.

Adjustable Straps
Whether multifit or underwire, almost all our swimsuits feature adjustable straps if the design allows. Adjustable straps allow you to customise your fit for the support you need. They are an excellent addition to any bikini, tankini top, one piece or swim dress.
Look for adjustable straps if your body length is either shorter or longer than average. Adjustable straps on a multifit swimsuit give you the option of increased bust support without needing underwire.
