We are in the midst of spring heading into summer so we don’t need any excuse to be inspired to create some clever cocktails that will be a highlight at any event
The classic must-have for any Spring event!
15ml London dry gin
15ml Bols Cherry brandy or Cherry Heering
15ml fresh lime juice
60ml soda water
1 dash Angostura bitters
Combine all ingredients except soda water and bitters in an ice-filled glass. Top with soda water, stir briefly and dash with Angostura bitters.
Cool with just the right amount of kick, this cocktail will refresh and impress you.
3 mint leaves
15ml. Bärenjäger honey liqueur
20ml fresh orange juice
60ml. brewed orange pekoe tea, chilled
Mint sprig to garnish
Fill a shaker with ice. Bruise 3 mint leaves between your fingers, then add them to the shaker. Add bourbon, Bärenjäger and orange juice. Shake and strain into a chilled, ice-filled Collins glass. Top with brewed tea, then garnish.
Mezcal and a trio of fruit juices meet in this tall refresher.
25ml blanco mezcal
15ml pineapple juice (fresh, if available)
15ml cranberry juice
10ml fresh lime juice
10ml agave nectar
grilled pineapple, optional garnish
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake, strain into a highball filled with crushed ice and garnish.
A little bit fruity, sweet and definitely delicious!
25ml Tito’s Handmade Vodka
15ml Cucumber Water
15ml St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
15ml fresh lemon juice
Splash of Fever Tree Ginger beer
Dash of Bitterman’s Hopped Grapefruit Bitters (to taste)
Combine all ingredients except ginger beer into mixing glass.
Shake and strain into an ice-filled collins glass. Top with ginger beer.
Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, like a garden in a glass.
120ml Lillet Rose
120ml Ruby Red grapefruit juice
6 edible flower blossoms (optional)
Combine half of the Lillet, half of the grapefruit juice, and half the gin, and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake until well chilled. Strain and divide cocktail among 3 stemmed cocktail glasses, such as Champagne coupes. Repeat. Garnish with flowers. Serve immediately.
