We all need chlorine resistant swimwear at one point in our life. Whether it is for swimming lessons, a theme park or going overseas, we all need some longer lasting swimwear. As chlorine concentration is high, it will eat away at your normal swimwear to the point it can change colour or worse, fall apart.
It is important to get some good quality chlorine resistant swimwear as the fabric is actually made to last in that high concentration water. It is the best thing you can do if you don’t want to waste money and want to ensure that you suit will really last all summer long.
The best thing you can do to take care of your chlorine resistant swimwear is to rinse it off after swimming in cold tap water until you feel it is thoroughly rinsed. The next best and most important thing is to dry them in the shade. The sun will simply eat away at your swimsuit until it is hard and dry. Finally, don’t put your bathers in the washing machine. They can get caught on the machine and rip which we don’t want to happen. If you can follow these three main rules, then you won’t need to worry about your swimsuit fading at all.
Chlorine resistant fabric is great as it will protect your other swimwear from getting damaged or ruined when you go to the theme park or swim in a friends pool. If you are looking at doing swimming lessons then you will certainly need some.
Choose from one piece swimsuits, tankinis, and long sleeve options. We also have some beautiful prints including Navy and White Dots and Ink and Water. Our Luxe Sport range is an active collection for those who need sporty womens swimwear in a longer lasting fabric.
Size guide
All of our swimsuits are true to size. This means you should follow your normal sizing.
The best guide is your underwear - so what you would wear in a bra and undies is the size you order from us in tops and bottoms. For example, in you wear an 18E bra, you should order a size 18 swimsuit top from us.
If you are looking for a one piece and are in between sizes, say an 18E bra and a 20 in underpants, we recommend choosing the larger of the two sizes - so a size 20 in this case.
If you have any issues with your new swimsuit, we do 30 day refunds for full priced items and exchanges for all items - so you can swap to a size or style that is more suitable for you!
